Smt Sujata Saunik IAS (Maharashtra 1987), presently posted as Additional Chief Secretary – Home, Home Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, is appointed as the Chief Secretary of Maharashtra. Gold Medalist in M.A. History from GND University, Punjab, she has completed her research program on Health & Family Welfare from Harvard University, the Cambridge Leadership and Strategic Thinking Programme in Personnel and General Administration from the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School. In 2021, she was awarded the prestigious Custodians of Humanity Award for her contribution to the Integrated Global Healthcare Mission (IGHM) in the area of Public Health.
