Shri Manoj Kumar Singh IAS (UP 1988) has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh. He has served as the Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) and Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) – Infrastructure & Industrial Development Commissioner (IIDC), a role he will continue to lead. He has also been the Additional Chief Secretary for various departments including Panchayat Raj, Horticulture & Food Processing, and Coordination. Additionally, he held positions as Chairman of PICUP, Noida, and Greater Noida Authority, as well as CEO of Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority. Shri Singh is B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture, an M.Sc. in Agriculture, and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Minnesota, USA.
