The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the empanelment of the following 7 IAS officers for the Secretary level:
Dr Jayanti Srinivasan Ravi IAS (Gujarat 1991), currently posted at Auroville Foundation in Tamil Nadu, has done her postgraduate studies in Nuclear Physics from the University of Madras, along with degrees in Public Administration and Public Policy from Harvard University and John Fitzgerald Kennedy School. She is multilingual and can speak English, French, Gujarati, Hindi, and Tamil.
Smt Anu Garg IAS (Odisha 1991), currently posted as Development Commissioner & ACS Secretary – Planning and Convergence Department, Bhubaneswar, is a Gold Medalist in Psychology from Lady Sriram College, Delhi University. She completed her Masters in Sociology from Lucknow University and Post Graduate in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore.
Shri Vijay Kumar IAS (AGMUT 1992), presently posted as Chairman of the Inland Waterways Authority of India, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, holds a B.E. in Electronics, a Diploma in Business Finance from ICFAI, an MBA from the University of Sydney, and has completed a Micro Masters Program in Economic Development from MIT.
Shri Sriram Taranikanti IAS (Tripura 1992), presently posted as Director of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, holds a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Madras and a Postgraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from T.I.P.I.E.
Smt Sujata Saunik IAS (Maharashtra 1987), presently posted as Additional Chief Secretary – Home, Home Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, is a graduate in Political Science and a Gold Medalist in M.A. History from GND University, Punjab. She has completed a research program on Health & Family Welfare from Harvard University, the Cambridge Leadership and Strategic Thinking Programme in Personnel and General Administration from the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School. In 2021, she was awarded the prestigious Custodians of Humanity Award for her contribution to the Integrated Global Healthcare Mission (IGHM) in the area of Public Health.
Shri Rajeev Verma IAS (AGMUT 1992), presently posted as Adviser to the Administrator – Union Territory of Chandigarh, has done his M.Tech in Computer Science from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
Dr Chandra Sekhar Kumar IAS (Odisha 1992), currently on Central Deputation and posted as Additional Secretary – Ministry of Panchayati Raj, New Delhi, holds a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from IIT-Bombay, a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University, New York.
