Breaking News | Major Bureaucratic reshuffle in Andhra Pradesh, 19 Senior IAS officers transferred

IndianBureaucracy, Amravati – Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, now in his fourth term after previous tenures spanning from 1995 to 1999, 1999 to 2004, and 2014 to 2019; has initiated the much anticipated changes in the state’s bureaucratic hierarchy, resulting in substantial administrative changes at the senior levels. On June 19th, 2024, nineteen (19) senior IAS officers were transferred, and several other senior officers were listed for further postings. The announcements regarding these changes continued late into the evening.

All the transfer and posting of the following IAS Officers is ordered with immediate effect,

1. Smt Y Srilakshmi IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1988), Special Chief Secretary to Government, MA & U.D Department is transferred and directed to report to General Administration Department for further posting.
2. Shri Rajat Bhargava IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1990), Special Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue (Excise) Department is transferred and directed to report to General Administration Department for further posting. He is also relieved from the full additional charge of the post of Special Chief Secretary to Government (T&C), YAT & C (Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture) Department.
3. Shri G Sai Prasad IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1991), presently posted as Chief Commissioner of Land Administration is transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary – Water Resources Department.
4. Shri Shashi Bhushan Kumar IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1996), is the new Principal Secretary – P.R. R.D & RWS Department.
5. Shri Budithi Rajsekhar IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1992), presently awaiting posting is posted as Special Chief Secretary – Agriculture, Sericulture, Cooperation & Marketing, Agriculture & Cooperation Department.
6. Shri Anil Kumar Singhal IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1993), presently posted as Special Chief Secretary to Governor is transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary – MA & UD Department.
7. Shri Gopal Krishna Dwivedi IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1993), posted as Special Chief Secretary – Labour, Factories, Boilers & Insurance Medical Services Department.
8. Shri Praveen Prakash IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1994), presently posted as Principal Secretary – School Education Department, is transferred and directed to report to General Administration Department for further posting.
9. Shri Siddharth Jain IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2001), presently posted as Commissioner – Survey, Settlement & Land Records is transferred and posted as Commissioner – Civil Supplies & E.O. Secretary – C.A F & C.S Department.
10. Shri Saurabh Gaur IAS (2002), presently posted as Commissioner – Intermediate Education is transferred and posted as Secretary –  Higher Education Department with full additional charge of the post of Principal Secretary – Skills Development Department.
11. Shri Kona Sasidhar IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2003), presently posted as Secretary – ITE & C Department is transferred and posted as Secretary – School Education Department, with full additional charge of the post of Secretary – ITE & C Department and RTGS.
12. Shri A Babu IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2003), presently Secretary – Cooperation & Marketing is posted as Secretary – Horticulture, Aquaculture, Fisheries, Agriculture & Cooperation Department.
13. Shri Bhaskar Katamneni IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2004), presently Commissioner – School Infrastructure is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of M.A & U.D Department for posting him as Commissioner- APCRDA .
14. Shri Pradyumna P S IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2004), presently posted as Secretary –  T.R & B Department is transferred and posted as Secretary to Chief Minister and is relieved from full additional charge of the Posts of (i) Principal Secretary – (YS&S), YAT & C Department and (ii) Joint Director General, APHRDI.
15. Smt M Janaki IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2005), presently awaiting posting is now posted as Secretary – Expenditure, Finance Department.
16. Shri M M Nayak IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2005), presently posted as Commissioner – Handlooms & Textiles is transferred and posted as Secretary – Animal Husbandry & Dairy Development Department.
17. Shri Pravin Kumar  IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2006), presently posted as Collector & District Magistrate – Tirupati, is transferred and posted as Commissioner & Director – Mines & Geology with full additional charge of the post of M.O. –  A.P, State Mineral Development Corporation .
18. Shri Dhyanachandra H M IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2017), presently posted as Joint Collector & Additional District Magistrate, Tirupati is given full additional charge of the post of Collector & District Magistrate – Tirupati.
19. Shri D Muralidhar Reddy IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2006), presently posted as V.C & M.D. – AP Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation (APMSIDC) with full additional charge of the posts of (i) C.E.0, SERP and (ii) M.D., Medical Education and Research Corporation (MERC) is relieved from full additional charge and transferred and directed to report in General Administration Department for further posting.
20. Shri Vadarevu Vinay Chand IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2008), presently awaiting posting is posted as Secretary – FP, Finance Department.
