10 Secretary appointments at the Centre – Indian Bureaucracy News | The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved 10 IAS appointments at Secretary Level with immediate effect , the names of the Indian Bureaucrats are :

1. Shri Apurva Chandra IAS (Maharashtra 1988) presently Secretary- Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has been transferred as Secretary- Department of Health and Family Welfare.
2. Shri Sukhbir Singh Sandhu IAS (Uttarakhand 1988) (Retd.) has been appointed as  Secretary to the Lokpal on contract basis for a period of one year on usual terms and conditions as applicable to re-employed Central Government officers.
3. Shri Raj Kumar Goyal IAS (AGMUT 1990) presently in the cadre has been transferred as Secretary- Department of Border Management, Ministry of Home Affairs.
4. Shri Niten Chandra IAS (Odisha 1990) presently Secretary- Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law & Justice has been transferred as Secretary- Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence.
5. Shri K Moses Chalai IAS (Manipur 1990) presently Secretary- North Eastern Council Secretariat, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region has been transferred as Secretary- Inter State Council Secretariat, Ministry of Home Affairs.
6. Shri Anil Malik IAS (Haryana 1991) presently in the cadre has been transferred as Officer on Special Duty- Ministry of Women and Child Development . The officer will take over as Secretary- Ministry of Women and Child Development vice Shri Indevar Pandey, IAS (WB:88) upon his superannuation on 29.02.2024.
7. Ms. Sumita Dawra IAS (Andhra Pradesh 1991) presently Special Secretary (Logistics), Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry has been transferred as Officer on Special Duty, Ministry of Labour and Employment . The officer will take over as Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment vice Ms. Arti Ahuja, IAS (OR:90) upon her superannuation on 29.02.2024.
8. Shri Vijay Kumar IAS (Uttarakhand 1992) presently Special Secretary- Ministry of Cooperation has been transferred as Chairman- Inland Waterways Authority of India, Ministry  of Ports, Shipping and Waterways .
9. Shri Ashish Kumar Bhutani IAS (Assam Meghalaya 1992) presently in the cadre has been transferred as Secretary- Ministry of Cooperation.
10. Shri Sanjay Jaju IAS (Telangana 1992) presently in the cadre has been transferred as Secretary- Ministry of Information & Broadcasting .
